Off Season Farmers Markets Return to the Summit on the Park This Month

The first of three monthly Winter Markets will be held on Sunday, February 21 in the Summit on the Park's Banquet Lobby, located at 46000 Summit Parkway. Markets are also scheduled for March 21 and April 18 at the Summit; all with special winter market hours from 10 am - 2 pm. Over a dozen local vendors will be featured at the Market. Please note that masks must be worn while at the Market. The Canton Farmers Market has also started its wait-list for the 2021 Community Garden Season. Canton Pavilion Online Rentals

It's not too early to think ahead to spring and summer! Online reservations are currently being accepted online reservations from Canton residents for its open-air pavilions. Only online bookings from Canton residents will be accepted at this time. Starting March 2 at 9 a.m., Canton residents may submit phone reservations by calling 734/394-5310, however online reservations are still encouraged. Online or phone reservations for non-residents will be accepted starting March 30 at 9 a.m. Payment is due at time of reservation. Rates and pavilion amenities be found here. BINGO and Brunch

Looking for some unique ways to combat cabin fever? Then head on over to the Summit on the Park's parking lot for some safe family fun that will take place in the comfort of your own car. Area residents are encouraged to take part in BINGO and Brunch on Saturday, February 27, which will be held in two timeslots. Registration includes at least 10 games of BINGO, a tasty pre-boxed continental breakfast from Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea of Canton, plus prizes! This family-friendly event will be held from 9 - 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Summit on the Park Parking lot for a drive-in experience through your radio! Select which time slot will work best for your family! Per person fees are just $8 for Canton residents and $10 per person for non-residents. Easter Events in Canton

Would you like a special neighborhood visit from the Easter Bunny? If so, from February 15-28 email lmortier@canton-mi.org and explain why Spring is an exciting time of year. If your entry is selected, your street wins! Then just hang out at the end of your driveway and Canton Leisure Services will escort the Easter Bunny himself through your neighborhood via the Easter Bunny Express. This event will take place on multiple nights (March 25, March 30, and April 1) from 6 - 8 p.m.

Area residents are encouraged to register for a safe and physically-distanced visit with the Easter Bunny at the Easter Jamboree, which will be held on Saturday, March 27, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Heritage Park Amphitheater area. Participants will enjoy a quick egg hunt, as well as musical entertainment. Sweet and warm treats will also be available on site for purchase. Sign up for one of the time slots beginning February 15. Youth Baseball and Softball Leagues

Greater Canton Youth Baseball and Softball Association (GCYBSA) will accept registration for its Spring 2021 now through March 15 for girls and boys ages 4-18. Golf Leagues Now Forming

Pheasant Run’s golf leagues are now registering players for Senior Men's and Ladies' leagues for the 2021 season. League play starts in May. League play will start in early May. These leagues are organized to be casual and fun, with a touch of friendly competition. Each week two-player teams will compete over nine holes. The B.L.O.C.K. & Beyond

Calling all parents! Are you searching for innovative ways to keep your child active weekdays after school during these challenging times? Then check out The B.L.O.C.K. and Beyond program that offers teens ages 11-17 a variety of fun and safe options to engage with their peers. Purchase a membership or just pay a drop-in fee to gain access to programs such as: art lessons, cooking classes, science experiments, tutoring, social hours and more!
