Annual Butterfly Ball Returns

Back by popular demand, Canton’s Valentine’s tradition returns - in a modified fashion. Join us for a shortened version of your favorite night out with the little girls in your life as Canton’s Butterfly Ball returns on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6 from 5-8 p.m.. Schedule a 15-minute session to hit your personal dance floor with your date, where you’ll also have your annual keepsake photo taken. When you leave, the fun won’t end since you’ll get to take home a Butterfly Ball Box that includes: butterfly souvenir, butterfly craft and more. Butterfly Ball Boxes can be also be purchased separately for those not interested in attending the dance; pick up will occur at the Summit on the Park at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 5. Fees are just $8 per person for Canton Residents and $10 per person for Non; each person must have a ticket. Butterfly Ball Boxes are just $5 per girl for those not attending dance. The B.L.O.C.K. & Beyond's Online Afterschool Activities

Are you looking for innovative ways to keep your child active weekdays after school? Then check out The B.L.O.C.K. and Beyond program that offer teens ages 11-17 a variety of fun and safe options in virtual formats. Buy a membership or just pay a drop-in fee for programs such as: art lessons, cooking classes, science experiments, tutoring, social hours and more! BINGO and Brunch

Area residents are invited to stay in their pajamas and head up to the Summit on the Park for some family fun BINGO and Brunch on Saturday, February 27! Registration includes at least 10 games of BINGO, a pre-boxed continental breakfast and prizes! This family-friendly event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Summit on the Park Banquet Center. Please note that there is a limit of 5 people per group for physical distancing. An additional session will be held from 11:00 a.m. to12:30 p.m. in the Summit on the Park Parking Lot for a drive-in experience through your radio! Select which time slot and option will work best for your family! Per person fees are just $8 for Canton Residents and $10 per person for Non-Residents. Registration opens January 15. Off-Season Markets Coming Soon to the Summit on the Park's Banquet Center

The first of three monthly Winter Markets will be held on Sunday, February 21 in the Summit on the Park Banquet Center, located at 46000 Summit Parkway. Markets are also scheduled for March 21 and April 18 at the Summit; all with special winter market hours from 10 am - 2 pm. Several local vendors will be featured at the Market, including a variety of returning favorites.

Boys Spring Lacrosse Leagues Now Forming

Interested in Lacrosse? No experience necessary. Limited spots are still available for the 2021 Spring League in grades 3-4 and 7-8. Registration fee includes: custom uniform, 10-14 league games, two tournaments, and referee fees. Learn how to play the fastest growing sport in the nation that provides great exercise and improved hand/eye coordination. New and experienced players are welcome. Participants are required to provide their own equipment; however, a limited supply of equipment is available for rent. Season runs March - May 2021. Check here for additional information.
