Canton's Annual Tree Lighting

Get into the holiday spirit as Canton’s Annual Tree Lighting goes virtual this year! On Wednesday, December 2^nd at 6:30 p.m., kick off this festive season by tuning in to Canton’s Annual Tree Lighting celebration from the comfort of your own living room. This special program will be live-streamed on Facebook @Canton Fun, as well as on Canton Community Television’s COMCAST Channel 12 and WOW Channel 10. In addition, this program will be uploaded to AT&T OnDemand, as well as on Canton Community Television’s YouTube Channel.

This year’s virtual program will feature the official lighting of the holiday tree by Canton’s Elected Officials and Board of Trustees, as well as a special appearance by Santa Claus, who gets a little help from the Canton Fire Department. Mrs. Claus also takes time out of her busy schedule to read us a joyous holiday story. Featured artists who will help us celebrate through song and dance, include: Dancin’ Feet performing to your favorite holiday tunes; plus, guitarist Ryan Brake performs a traditional seasonal classic. Summit Virtual Fitness Classes

Are you looking for ways to stay active this winter? Then be sure to take advantage of the Summit's "Stay Fit, Stay Home, Stay Virtual" fitness class membership. Choose from a variety of sessions, including: Yoga, Strenght, Zumba, Step, BEST (senior-focused), and more! Canton residents and non-residents can purchase a three-week virtual membership package, which will provide unlimited access to ALL of the Summit on the Park's virtual fitness classes. Fees for the "Stay Fit, Stay Home, Stay Virtual membership" are $20 for Canton residents and $25 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required for all of these classes, which will provide Zoom link and class password at the bottom of your receipt. Striders Walking Club Returns

Calling all seniors! Are you looking to join an indoor walking club? Then Canton’s Striders Walking Club is the perfect place for you! Stop by the Summit front desk and become a member today to gain access to the Summit on the Park indoor track. Fees per track session are just $1 for Residents or $3 for Non-Residents. Summit members can sign up for free! All walkers are required to check-in at the Summit front desk. Get Unlimited Golf at PRGC in 2021

Golf may be winding down for this season, but it's never too early to plan for next year's time on the links; especially when savings are involved! Purchase an Annual Pass at Pheasant Run Golf Club between now and December 18, and save 10% off the full pass price. Annual golf passes allow for unlimited golf with cart and range use throughout the year. Passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Volleyball Registration - Canton Sports Center

Volleyball registration is now open for six-person teams in Coed Recreational Leagues that will play on Sunday evenings starting in January at the Summit on the Park, if the current COVID-19 climate allows. For additional information, please call the Canton Sports Center at 734/483-5600.

GCYBSA Spring Registration

Greater Canton Youth Baseball and Softball Association (GCYBSA) Spring Registration will run from January 10 through March 31, 2021, for girls and boys ages 4-18. Programs include: Small Ball, T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Kid Pitch, and Girls Softball. For more information, please visit www.GCYBSA.com.
