September 27th Canton Farmers Market Update:

Delicious fresh cider, a variety of apples, pumpkins, squash, and mums mean fall has officially arrived at the Canton Farmers Market! We look forward to seeing you each week until the market season ends on October 25th.   

The Market is held rain or shine, as the farmers still harvest their produce and bring it to the Market, no matter what the weather.

Stock up on some of your market favorites this Sunday, such as: eggs, jams, fresh produce and other items you've grown to love. 

COVID-19 Safety Protocols:

We're working hard to ensure the safety of vendors and guests during the 2020 Canton Farmers Market season. Shoppers can take advantage of fresh food and local merchandise this market season in a safe and stress-free environment.  

• Everyone one market grounds is required to wear a face mask or protective face-covering at all times.
• Do not visit our farmers market if you are sick or a member of a high-risk group. If possible, please send a family member or friend to shop for you. 

• Patrons are encouraged to bring their own shopping bags.

• Touching products at the market is prohibited. Shoppers should point to the goods they’d like to purchase. Patrons are also encouraged to bring their own shopping bags.

• Market shopping areas will be fenced off with only one entrance and exit, located off of Ridge Road.
• Hand sanitizer will be available at these locations
• Market-goers are asked to follow the directional signage, as well as social distancing protocols.
• As current Executive Order gatherings’ size limitations remain in place, market-goers may be asked to cue and wait before accessing the market grounds depending on crowd sizes.

Food Truck at the Market

September 27: Don't miss the popular food stand, Great Lakes Confections! Pick up some fresh hot mini donuts, fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee (featuring pumpkin spice and carmel whipped coffee) and hot or cold cider, and find out what everyone is talking about. Can you say YUM?

End of Market Season Celebration

Be sure to stop by the Canton Farmers Market as we wrap up our season on Sunday, October 25th.  Dress the kids in their Halloween costumes for a chance to win this year's costume contest. There will even be goodie bags for the children, while supplies last. Plus, market-goers will be able to take advantage of a fall photo op, featuring hay bales, cornstalks, and colorful fall mums provided courtesy of Nemeth Greenhouse and Farms. Remember, masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines must be followed during this special market.  Hope to see you there! 

Outdoor Fitness Classes

Stay active with Canton Leisure Services outdoor fitness classes!  A variety of individual sessions are no available and will be held at either the Heritage Park Amphitheater or the Summit Community Courtyard, located in the West Parking Lot. Find complete schedules and information at www.cantonfun.org/relaunch.

Group Fitness Schedule available now through October 17, 2020.  

Registration: Only online at www.cantonfun.org/relaunch.
Fees: $5 Resident / $7 Non-Resident

No on-site registration is available for classes. Registration opens 2 weeks before and closes 24 hours before class. Please note that these classes are not included in Summit on the Park memberships, which are currently frozen.  Sign up today!
