[ARCHIVED] Canton Wine Walk Fundraising Event To Benefit National Women’s Health Network

The 21 and over crowd is invited to attend a special Wine Walk Fundraiser on Friday, February 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the Village Arts Factory, located at 507055 Cherry Hill Road in Canton, MI. 

This unique fundraiser is presented by the young women of Canton’s Learn.Advocate.Mentor (LAM) program, which is part of the Lead #LikeAGirl initiative.  Proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the National Women’s Health Network, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in Washington, D.C. in 1975 to provide women with a greater voice within the healthcare system.  

“We are so proud of all of the young ladies in LAM who brought such creativity to the planning of this special fundraiser,” said Chelsea Straub, Youth Recreation Specialist.  “They took great strides in submitting ideas and developing all of the details for this fundraiser to make it the perfect girls’ night out.” 

For a ticket price of $40 per person, participants will enjoy catered appetizers, wine sampling, live music, a pottery experience, and an art exhibition. A wine pull will also be available on-site for an additional $20 donation. A few lucky ladies could go home with a bottle valued at $100 or more!  Tickets are now on sale through February 17, 2023, at No on-site tickets will be available, so purchase yours today before they’re gone! 

The mentor program, titled Learn.Advocate.Mentor, is comprised of young girls who have graduated from the Lead #LikeAGirl initiative that aims to inspire young women to rethink what it means to lead and live #LikeAGirl.
