On Saturday, July 27, 2019, area residents are invited to attend the Sixth Annual Rally on Ridge for a festive evening of food, fun, music, and more to benefit the Canton Farmers Market. This special fundraiser will be held at a new site this year at Cherry Hill School, located at 50440 Cherry Hill Road.

From 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., Cherry Hill School will play host to food trucks featuring deliciously gourmet menus, as well as live music from talented local artists. Event-goers who plan to stay for the music are encouraged to bring along a lawn chair or picnic blanket.

A variety of food trucks are expected to take part in this year’s event, including: Impasto, Fortune Cooking, Time to Chill Gelato, as well as Shimmy Shack featuring vegan cuisine. Find a complete list of participating food trucks on the Canton Farmers Market Facebook page the week of the event. In addition, a Beer Garden featuring hard cider selections will also be available for participants 21 years of age.  Discounted Pre-Sale Beer Tickets will be available online at from July 12-26, 2019, where you can purchase 5 tickets for $15 just by entering Rally on Ridge 2019 under Register for Programs. Adult beverages on the menu include: Clear Coast Mango Guava (hard sparking water), Perrin Gold Ale, and Blake’s Hard Cider - Rainbow Seeker.

“This annual event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a pleasant summer evening outside and some delicious eats from a fantastic lineup of gourmet food trucks, as well as talented local entertainment,” said Farmers Market Supervisor Christa Williams. “It’s the perfect event for showcasing the home of the Canton Farmers Market while building community support for Market programming.”

A portion of the proceeds collected from food vendor sales during this special fundraiser will benefit the Canton Farmers Market, which is currently celebrating its thirteenth season. With the recent influx in “buy local” initiatives, the Canton Farmers Market is seeing an increase in both the number of participating growers and in customers. As such, the market continues to expand its offerings during Market hours, which are held every Sunday, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. now through October 13, 2019, at Preservation Park.

The public is encouraged to attend this special fundraising event, which will be held at Cherry Hill School.  Additional parking will be available at Preservation Park, located at 500 N. Ridge. No admission is needed to attend the event. For additional information about this special fundraiser, as well as the Canton Farmers Market, visit
