[ARCHIVED] Still Got It Players "Nana's Naughty Knickers" Headed to Canton’s Village Theater

 Still Got It Players, a Spotlight Players performance group for seniors age 50 and older, will present the hilarious comedy, “Nana’s Naughty Knickers” in the Biltmore Studio at Canton’s Village Theater on May 18 – 21, 2017.  Performances will take place on Thursday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 20 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.villagetheatercanton.com, in person Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. or by phone 734-394-5484.


Bridget and her Grandmother are about to become roommates.  However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to say with her favorite Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget.  Her sweet Grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling hand-made naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five borough area!


Katherine DiSaviano is one of the top 75 best-selling playwrights published by Samuel French. Her three published plays have been translated into multiple languages and performed around the world. Theatrical critics have called her work “True-to-life,” “Superbly written,” and “entertaining and laugh-out-loud funny.”


The cast of “Nana’s Naughty Knickers” includes; Bethany Wagner as Bridget (Ann Arbor), Donna Brandt as Sylvia (Canton), Mark Ripper as Tom (Northville), Sherrie Saksewski as Vera (Belleville), Richard Pientak as Mr. Schmitt (Canton), Rachel Richardson as Heather (Canton), Shelley Stephen as Clair (Farmington Hills), Dennis Farmer as UPS Man (Canton), and Sandy McCay as The Voice (Canton). 


“Nana’s Naughty Knickers” runs May 18 – 21, 2017 in the Biltmore Studio at The Village Theater in Canton, Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30PM and Saturday and Sunday performances at 2PM.


Ticket purchasing:  Tickets can be purchased for $15 - $18, and printed at home or held in will call, anytime from our website www.cantonvillagetheater.org at no extra charge.  The box office is open between 10am-2pm weekdays.   Tickets can also be ordered over the phone, 734/394-5300 x3, with a Visa or Mastercard between the hours of 10am-2pm weekdays. If tickets are available, they can also be purchased one hour prior to Program Time.
